My First GTO

Ediboslim@aol.com

I alway's wanted a 66-67 GTO  w/ 389 / 4 speed / 3 duces
Well, I found one, actually my nephew found one in Turlock, Ca.
The guy had the original engine and trans the body needs help and interior
also.
My plan is to start with the engine.
I'm gona just go with Hi-Performance parts, Port & Polish the Heads, possible
BluePrinting, Roller Cam, and Rockers, and top it off with a Six-Pak.
I just want a dependable runner.
I picked it up for  $ 1500.00 Bucks. The engine and trans was out, the body's
not to bad, but I'm gona go thru the whole thing.
I'm a welder fabricater so I can do alot of the work myself.
It will be a fun project, my wife is happy for me, but this will be a long
project and I'm in no hurry. I figure by the year ? 2005   I might have
something worthy of the street.
I'll be asking for guidance and dirrection in the future, suggestions
welcome....
