I'm really very new to this site but certainly not to Pontiacs.I've loved the Big Indians since I was a kid.I remember Dad buying a new Custom S in 1969 and going down to the dealer several times to shop and bargain and can still remember a Judge sitting on the showroom floor.I also remember the big wooden Indians and the cigar smoking salesman and Dad not buying the Judge. It wasnt until my senior year of high school that I was able to get my first Pontiac,A 1967 G.T.O. postcoupe. It was a 52,000 mile car with a blown motor and had set in a garage for a long time.I wont even tell you how cheap I picked it up but that was 1979 dollars and I was a kid working part time so it seemed like a fortune . The car was filthy but very straight and very original right down to the hub caps and Goodyear Blue Streak slicks. |
